Shipping

Shipping Fees:
– FREE SHIPPING for all orders of min. $200 (excl.European countries).
– Shipping fee of $20 applies to all orders of less than $200.
– Shipping fee of $50 applies to all orders delivered via private courier (countries listed in checkout).
– Shipping fee of $30 applies to all orders delivered via priority mail (countries listed in checkout).
– No shipping fee applies to CHF orders.
Shipping Times:

– Registered & Priority Mail : 5-13  days
– Private Courier : 2-5 business days
– SwissPost (CH orders) : 1-3 business days

Handling & Shipping Information

We take extra care to package all accessories and supplies with the utmost attention to detail, ensuring they arrive in perfect condition. All parrot accessories and supplies are carefully inspected and securely packaged before shipping.

We recommend placing your parrot’s accessories or toys in a safe, designated area as soon as they arrive. This helps ensure that everything is in top condition for use.

Shipping Method:
Shipments are made using reliable postal services or private couriers when necessary. We aim for deliveries within 10 to 30 business days, depending on the destination.

Taxes and Duties:
Please note that any local taxes or duties related to the importation of parrots or accessories are the responsibility of the customer. We cannot be held liable for these costs. It is your responsibility to understand the taxation laws of your location before placing an order.

Lost Shipments & Delays:
If your package is delayed or not delivered within the expected timeframe, we consider it lost after one month from the shipping date, in accordance with international postal protocol. In such cases, you will be notified, and we will arrange a replacement shipment. Please note that no replacements will be sent before the one-month mark has passed.

Please Note:
We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by incorrect shipping information (e.g., wrong addresses) or events beyond our control, such as natural disasters.

Processing Time:
Typically, we dispatch packages within 1 to 3 business days. However, during busy periods or special promotions, processing may take a bit longer.

Prices and payments

At Colorful Parrots Adoption, all prices are displayed in USD (converted rates are for reference only. We do not guarantee that the conversion rates shown are exact). All charges will be processed in USD or EURO.

We accept payments via credit card or bank transfers for orders above $2000. Please note that the client is responsible for any associated bank or conversion fees. If these fees are not paid by the client, the required amount will be deducted from the product value in the order.

Are products on the website guaranteed delivery?

Yes, all parrots and products from our website are shipped in their original packaging and are guaranteed for worldwide delivery. We ensure that each bird and accessory is handled with care and shipped securely to ensure safe arrival at your location.. 

Returns

Cancellation of the order by Mail

We reserve the right to cancel an order or parts of an order in the following cases:

  • The parrot(s) or products are no longer available for production or delivery.
  • The items are unavailable for an extended period.
  • The price of the items has changed significantly.
  • The unpaid order is not collected within 5 working days after sending an email or SMS notification.

We will notify you promptly in case of any such cancellations.

When will my order be shipped after payment?

Once you have made payment and we have confirmed, your Tracking nuber will be sent to you by Email and SHIPPING the order can take up to  3 – 5 business days.

How do I know if an order has been shipped or delivered?

  When the package is sent, you will be e-mailed a website link with tracking number after package has passed customs. You may track online and we will on our end also. (Check your Spam folder also for e-mails)

Tracking

All tracked orders are sent with tracking priority mode, requiring a signature from an adult over 21 years old upon delivery.

At your request, we will provide the tracking details for your package. If your country’s postal service does not offer tracking or is not linked to a tracking service, we will ensure discreet shipping to your destination.

Please be aware that customs taxes may be applicable upon the entry of products into your country. These taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

Return to sender or abandoned packages will not be refunded. Additionally, we are not liable for packages left outside that are stolen or damaged by weather elements.

If your package is seized due to your country’s import regulations, no refund will be issued (except for the USA).
